Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This Policy explains how LOGIKS collects and uses the personal data of visitors to https://www.logiks.fr (the “Site”), as well as the rules that apply to cookies and other trackers.

1. Data controller

The data controller is:

LOGIKS, a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of 400 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 952 593 630, whose registered office is located at Bâtiment 721, 108 rue Lemercier, 75017 Paris, France.

  • Email address: contact@logiks.fr
  • Postal address: LOGIKS — Données personnelles, Bâtiment 721, 108 rue Lemercier, 75017 Paris, France

2. Data processed

Depending on how the Site is used, LOGIKS may process the following categories of data:

  • Identification and contact data: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, company and job title, where users provide this information.
  • Content of communications: messages, enquiries, information concerning a project, and any documents voluntarily provided.
  • Business-relationship data: history of communications, stated requirements, quotations, appointments and relationship-management records.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, connection date and time, requested pages, and logs required for the Site’s security and operation.
  • Site-localisation preferences: selected language or region and, where this feature is enabled, the country estimated from the IP address in order to display the relevant version of the Site.
  • Analytics data, subject to consent: pages viewed, navigation events, source of the visit, approximate viewing time, device type and approximate location inferred from the IP address.

LOGIKS does not ask the browser for access to GPS coordinates or any other precise geolocation data. Any location displayed in Google Analytics is a general estimate—for example, a country, region or city—derived from technical data.

Mandatory form fields are identified as such. If this information is not provided, LOGIKS may be unable to process the request.

3. Purposes, legal bases and retention periods

Purpose: to respond to users and follow up on their enquiries.

Legal basis: LOGIKS’s legitimate interest in securing the Site.
Retention: for the period strictly necessary for security and diagnostic purposes, depending on the nature of the technical log.

Certain data may be retained for longer where required by law or where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

4. Recipients and processors

The data is accessible only to:

  • authorised individuals within LOGIKS who require it to perform their duties;
  • technical service providers acting on LOGIKS’s behalf, to the extent necessary to provide their services;
  • administrative or judicial authorities where required by law.

For the activities covered by this Policy, LOGIKS uses, in particular:

  • Webflow, Inc., for the design, hosting and technical operation of the Site;
  • Google Ireland Limited, for Google Analytics and, where applicable, for the professional email services used to receive and process enquiries.

These providers may use their own subprocessors under the conditions described in their contractual documentation and privacy policies.

LOGIKS does not sell or rent users’ personal data.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Certain service providers, including Webflow and some entities in the Google group, are established in or use infrastructure located outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States.

Where data is transferred to a country that is not covered by an adequacy decision from the European Commission, LOGIKS ensures that the transfer is based on a mechanism recognised by applicable law, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. The providers concerned may also participate in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where it applies to them.

Further information may be requested from contact@logiks.fr.

6. Data subject rights

Subject to the conditions laid down by applicable law, data subjects may exercise the following rights:

  • the right to access their data;
  • the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • the right to erasure;
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to object, in particular to direct marketing;
  • the right to data portability, where applicable;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent;
  • the right to issue instructions concerning the handling of their data after their death, under the conditions laid down by French law.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

To exercise a right, users may contact LOGIKS:

  • by email at contact@logiks.fr;
  • by post at LOGIKS — Données personnelles, Bâtiment 721, 108 rue Lemercier, 75017 Paris, France.

LOGIKS may request information reasonably necessary to verify the identity of the person making the request and prevent unauthorised third-party access to their data.

If, after contacting LOGIKS, a person believes that their rights have not been respected, they may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr.

7. Security

LOGIKS implements proportionate technical and organisational measures to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data. These measures include limiting access, using secure connections and engaging service providers that offer appropriate safeguards.

As no system can guarantee absolute security, LOGIKS investigates incidents that may affect personal data and, where required by law, makes the necessary notifications to the CNIL and the affected individuals.

8. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file or item of information stored on or read from a user’s device when they access an online service. Similar technologies, such as local browser storage, may serve comparable purposes. Below, the term “cookies” refers to all these technologies.

9. Cookies used on the Site

9.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential to the Site’s operation, security or management of privacy choices. They are not used for advertising and cannot be disabled through the banner where they must be stored in order to provide the requested service.

Consent or refusal preference cookie
Provider: Logiks or its consent-management provider.
Purpose: to record users’ preferences and avoid displaying the banner on every page.
Maximum duration: six months.

Language or region cookie
Provider: Logiks or the Site’s localisation tool.
Purpose: to display the requested language or regional version and remember this choice.
Maximum duration: the duration of the session or up to six months.

Technical security cookies or logs
Provider: Webflow and its infrastructure providers.
Purpose: to route traffic, secure the Site, detect misuse and maintain availability.
Maximum duration: the duration of the session or the period strictly necessary for technical purposes.

The exact technical names may change when the hosting provider or consent-management provider is updated, without changing their purpose.

9.2 Google Analytics cookies

Subject to the user’s consent, the Site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure traffic and understand general use of the Site.

Cookie _ga
Provider: Google Analytics.
Purpose: to distinguish browsers in order to produce aggregated audience statistics.
Maximum intended duration on the Site: thirteen months.

Cookie _ga_<identifier>
Provider: Google Analytics.
Purpose: to retain the state of an analytics session.
Maximum intended duration on the Site: thirteen months.

The default duration offered by Google may be longer. LOGIKS uses a configuration limited to a maximum of thirteen months for these cookies. The associated data in Google Analytics must be configured for a maximum retention period of fourteen months.

Google Analytics is activated only after the user accepts the “Analytics” category. If the user refuses, Analytics cookies must not be stored and measurement tags must not transmit data to Google Analytics.

The scope described here does not include Google Ads, advertising personalisation, remarketing features, social-media pixels or cross-site advertising tracking.

10. Obtaining and managing consent

On the first visit, a banner allows users to:

  • accept analytics cookies;
  • refuse them just as easily;
  • access further information before making a choice.

Closing the banner or continuing to browse without taking positive action constitutes refusal of cookies that require consent.

The choice, whether consent or refusal, is remembered for six months. Users may change their decision at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link available on every page of the Site. Withdrawing consent prevents any new storage or transmission subject to that consent.

Browser settings may supplement these tools, but do not replace the choice expressed through the Site’s banner.

11. Changes to this Policy

LOGIKS may amend this Policy to reflect changes to the Site, the tools used or applicable regulations. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.

If a material change affects the purposes of processing or users’ choices, users will be informed again or, where necessary, asked to provide consent again.
